Aftermath

The ''Capitulacion'' of 1529, made Ruiz Grand Pilot of the Southern Ocean, while Candia was placed at the head of artillery, and the remaining eleven "were created ''Hidalgo (nobility), hidalgos'' and ''cavalleros''.
